| Mission Statement The mission of our dental practice is to provide first-quality dental care in a state-of-the-art friendly environment with careful attention to detail and deep personal respect. Guiding Principles We apply the following guiding principles to everything that we do: Be Present. We strive to see one patient at a time. Dr. Ramirez will never be in a rush to treat you due to a lobby full of anxious patients waiting to be seen. We always ask parents to be present in the room when we treat children. Be Authentic A lot of our patients who have been hurt in other offices come to us and stay. Very seldom do we have patients wanting to transfer to another office. We only recommend treatment for our patients that we would have done on ourselves. We take high definition 100X magnified intraoral photos so that you can see and understand your condition, and by doing so, help you make a decision on the proposed treatment. We do not do over-treatment planning. Be Inclusive We base our measure of success on the quality of the relationship we have made with each patient, not just on the quality of the dental service we provide. Be Gentle We listen to your concerns, before, during and after treatment. We do not rush to start until you are physically and emotionally comfortable. Even during the procedure, we employ a method where you can signal us to stop at any moment if you think you are about to become uncomfortable. Be engaging Dr. Ramirez, when prudent, will tactfully engage with you in conversation, not just to make you feel comfortable, but because he has a genuine interest for you as a human being and wants to help you. Be Responsible. We use only the best materials and labs. All instruments go through a high-pressure steam autoclave for sterilization. We perform weekly spore-tests and have an independent laboratory analyze our samples to ensure 100% sterilization effectiveness. To date, all analysis have shown complete effectiveness. We use digital x-rays which decrease your radiation exposure significantly and do not generate waste products which eventually end up polluting the environment. Holistic Approach We know that there is a direct connection between oral health and systemic diseases, such as: Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Disease, and low-birth weight. We are also aware that lifestyles can manifest themselves in a person's oral condition. Regardless of what we see: We will respect you as a human being. To us you are not just a tooth needing a filling, but rather, we see you as a human being seeking to find health and live pain free. We will not put into your body materials that are toxic to you according to your health beliefs. We will use a peer-reviewed scientific approach to make you aware of the materials we might be using and let you decide if such conform to your beliefs. |
