Dr. Juan Carlos Ramirez, DDS Dr Ramirez was awarded the degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery   from Loma Linda University  in Southern California.  Prior to his Doctorate degree he was also awarded two undergraduate degrees in Medical Radiology. Dr Ramirez comes to Santa Paula from having practiced dentistry in Santa Barbara, CA for the last 5 years.  He, as part of a collaborative, was instrumental in the construction of a community dental clinic to provide dentistry for those who had no access to dental care.  With Dr Ramirez’s leadership, dental education was delivered to children and adults via radio, television, and public presentations to raise dental awareness and help people avoid expensive and extensive dental treatment in the future. His experience with both children and adults will make a first time visit unique for you or your child. Dr Ramirez is a member of the Santa Barbara/Ventura County Dental Society, American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.  Currently he proudly serves as a reserve Captain for the California Air National Guard's 146th Airlift Wing at Channel Islands. Dr Ramirez enjoys snowboarding, running at the beach, mountaineering, and working out.  He is married to Lorane and they have a daughter named Tatyana and a dog named “Lady Perris”.
